Today I headed out to Stillwater to Aamodt's Apple Orchard and Country Sun Farm. We joined up with Molly, Logan and Marshall to enjoy the day... The kids got to go through a Hay Maze, pet animals, walk through the apple orchard, try apple samples, walk through the pumpkin patch and play in the kiddy area! Man, was it windy but sure was fun. We ended up at McDonald's afterward for lunch since we couldn't do a picnic due to the wind.
Enjoy the pictures!! The kids and adults had a great time!
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9

Fun in the UP
We just got back Wednesday morning from a wonderful trip up to Marquette, MI to visit Grandpa and Grandma Paxson while Ben's dad had to work. We had SO much fun and even got to relax too. We also got to celebrate Ben's 30th Birthday!!!!
There was so much we did: shopping, adventures at the park, trips to Lake Superior, food, football, Addy's special kisses with grandpa, playing the piano and dancing with grandma, fall leaves turning color, visit to Grandpa's hospital where he works, thrift stores, laughs, great fellowship and much more.
I could say a lot more of how wonderful our time was but I will let the pictures speak for themselves. We are so blessed to be able to spend so much time with our family.

Addy Update: 18 months
Today was Addy's 18 month check up. WOW! Where has time gone?! I can't believe our little girl is growing up so fast. We love her so dearly. She is saying many new words like: yellow, Costco (hahaha), No, Matt, Scott, Pappa, Nana, giraffe, mama, dada, bubbles doll and much more. She loves sounds of animals, counting, going to the park and dancing, bubbles, and loves her dolly.
Height: 32 1/2 inches---80th percentile
Weight: 30 pounds---90th percentile
Head Circ: 19 inches---99th percentile (The doctor said she must have a big brain:))
The doctor was very pleased with Addy's growth and we will go see him again at 2 years old!!! YIKES!
No shots today!!!We will be getting her flu shot in 2 weeks since we are going out of town Thursday we didn't want her to get sick after the shots.
We are excited to be headed to Michigan on Thursday to visit Grandpa and Grandma Paxson!!

Fall Fun
There is really nothing like fall season. I looked at the forecast for this week and it sounds like 50's and 60's are in store. My FAVORITE time of the year. Football, sweatshirts, turning leaves, apple orchards, pumpkins and open windows.
On Saturday Addy and I took our first fall adventure with Grandma Dana and Great Grandma Anita down to Red Wing, MN. The purpose of the adventure was to meet up with my mom's siblings, some of my cousins and my mom's cousins from WI that we haven't seen in many years.
We headed out at about 10am for Red Wing and along the way we stopped at an apple orchard just outside of Red Wing before we met for lunch at 1pm. We had a blast at the apple orchard with Addy as we tasted some great apples, sat on a big chair and walked around the corn stalks. Pictures will follow.
Then we headed to meet everyone for lunch at Liberty's Restaurant and Lounge. The food was nummy and the fellowship was great. We also did a little shopping and headed down for a drive by the river. It is such a beautiful city. We then headed back to the cities and also brought my cousins' Mary and Sarah back too. We had great talks on the ride home and Addy sure loved hanging with everyone.
The day was so wonderful and it made me realize how blessed I am to have such wonderful family. Ben and I will be traveling later this week to Michigan to visit his dad and mom while he works. And we will be celebrating Ben's 30th birthday while in MI. We are looking forward to the trip and spending quality time with family.
