What a Great Day

Today is a great day for two reasons. Firstly, 7 years ago today I married the most wonderful, godly man in the world. Secondly, it is Father's day. What a special day to share both of these wonderful experiences that have made us who we are today.

I am so thankful that the Lord has blessed me with a hardworking wonderful husband. Because of him I get to be a full time mom and have the opportunity to raise our sweet girl. I know I often forget to appreciate him and tell him how much he truly means to our family. He has gone above and beyond as a husband. He is always there for me. A helping hand, the strength of our family....He is a protector and the love of my life.

 A fun note for those of you who don't know Ben and I have been together since August of 1999 when we first started dating...so we have quite the history which I am so thankful for.

Today is also a special day because Ben became a dad on March 17, 2010.  I have seen Ben from the first minute he laid eyes on Addison open his heart to new things. The love he shares with his little girl is so amazing and I am so thankful that my daughter will grow up with such an amazing dad.

Another reason today is special is because of my 2 dad's.

My 1st dad (Ron Ginn) is so special to me. He helped to mold me into the woman I am today. I am thankful for cherished times spent with him and all I have learned over the years. He is always there to teach me new things, help when things break or just be listening ear. I am so fortunate to have grown up in a home where my parents were believers and each day lived out that example.  I am thankful I can look back on life on know my dad was always there...I am thankful for his love and commitment to me through all my years.

My 2nd dad (Charlie Paxson) is so special to me also. You see when I married Ben, I got another dad! How special is that! He has been a huge encouragement to me and the love he shares with his family and us is so unconditional. I have never met a more giving man. He shares his heart and love like no other. He is a man of courage and of strength. In the now over 13 years that I have know him I have learned so much about life. I am so blessed to have him in my life.
